Clear Advice and Simple Solutions

INTRODUCTION

Our practice is focused on just a couple areas of law. We do not take on every case that walks in the door and we are not a full-service law firm. We provide clear advice and simple solutions that are personalized for your business and personal needs.

At larger firms you may speak with multiple attorneys and paralegals over the course of the representation. As a small firm we ensure that all your questions are answered by the same attorney that handles your case from commencement to judgment. In this way, we are able to provide a clear path toward solving your legal issues.

SPECIALIZATION

By practicing in just a couple areas of law, our firm can offer a more personal service customized to your needs. Many clients work with attorneys that they’ve “always worked with” even when the legal issue at hand is outside of their expertise. Specializing in just a couple areas of law means that we have a quick response when you need it. We don’t have to research to find your answer; we just know.

Working with a general practitioner may work in small towns where there are only a few law firms, but in a large city such as Los Angeles, we specialize because your one issue is the most important one.

RELATIONSHIPS

When thinking about hiring an attorney, you should consider whether you actually like the person with whom you’re going to be working. Attorneys are consistently ranked as one of the most hated professions. In fact, we often dislike attorneys ourselves. When you’re looking for an attorney, you need to determine if your future attorney is even likable. Ask yourself, “Would I send my mom to this person?” Depending on the answer, and your relationship with your mom, you’ll know pretty quickly whether or not you want to trust the most intimate details of your business and personal life to our firm. We think you will.

While our goal is providing clear advice and simple solutions for your legal problems, we really focus on building long-term relationships with our clients. We don’t build cases, we build relationships. We have built business and personal relationships with our clients going back more than a decade. By knowing our clients business and personalities, we are not just a faceless entity and you are not just a number or a paycheck. We like to foster a partnership-style relationship with our clients. We make ourselves accessible and responsive.

Our hope is that you’ll also feel comfortable building a long-term relationship with our firm.

SMALL STAFF

Our clients get to know our small and dedicated staff. With larger firms, there are too many clients and too many moving parts which results in a much higher cost to the client. This works for large companies where a case may get dragged out for years. We focus on providing personalized solutions for quick results.

There is something to be said about working with an attorney who is also operating their own small business - we just “get it.”

COMPETITIVE FEES

By building long-term relationships with our clients, and not treating them as the next pay check, we can focus on providing the best service possible without having to nickel and dime them. Almost all of our matters are billed on a item basis, not a contingency, and almost always without retainer. Without retainers, our clients can reach out to us without having to worry if they are going to have to pay to talk with us in 6 minute increments. By keeping our clients current on the latest changes in law, whether through large national legislation or via local emergency measures, we save our clients time and money by not charging them for everything that we do so they can focus on running their businesses and living their lives.

REFERRAL NETWORK

Our firm fully acknowledges that we cannot solve all your problems. By focusing on just a couple areas of law, we can provide clear advice and simple solutions that are personalized for your business and personal needs. For everything else, we work with a wide variety of other firms that specialize in other areas and that can make appearances when we cannot be in all places at once.
